Africa concentrates a considerable part of the world's plant biodiversity, centuries-old extraction know-how and agricultural sectors whose development potential remains largely under-exploited by international industry. Folk Oils has chosen to anchor its supply in this continent, not to reduce its costs, but to build direct supply chains with high traceable value that international trading cannot reproduce.

Direct channels and multi-year commitments

Our partnerships with African cooperative networks and producers are based on multi-year contracts with stable conditions. We do not practice opportunistic market purchasing. We finance predictability, for our producers and for our customers.
Integral valorization of the plant

Our vegetable proteins come from the valorization of co-products from the extraction of our oils. Zero biomass lost. Each part of the plant becomes a commercial reference with high functional value.
Carbon traceability by batch

We produce documented carbon footprint data at batch scale, available to our partners with Scope 3 reporting obligations, Net Zero commitments or compliance requirements with the European Regulation on Environmental Claims.

Our horizon

We are actively expanding our network of African suppliers, giving priority to species with high functional value whose sectors today remain fragmented, not very transparent and undervalued by the international industry.

We invest in the analytical and regulatory infrastructure necessary for these African origins to meet the requirements of the strictest markets, European, American, Asian, without compromising on specification or documentation.

Our vision is to make direct African supply no longer an exception in the specialized vegetable oil sector, but a reference standard.
